owns and operates the Labdara Lithuanian Nursing Home
Labdara Foundation, is a not-for-profit registered charity [B/N 118987775 RR 0001], that owns and operates the Labdara Lithuanian Nursing Home. It was registered in the Province of Ontario with the Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Affairs in August of 1977.
Labdara Foundation is built on a solid foundation of volunteers, community involvement and support. It is the support and involvement of our community, which is at the heart of all our achievements and our identity as an organization serving the needs of seniors.

Labdara Foundation is governed by a group of unpaid volunteers serving as a Board of Directors. Candidates standing for election to serve as Directors on the Board of Labdara Foundation are presented by the Nominations Committee for approval by the Board of Directors and the candidates are then elected by the Foundation’s membership at an Annual General Meeting held in April of each year. Board of Director meetings are held monthly with a break for summer and Christmas

On June 25th, 2002, Labdara, the only Lithuanian Long-Term Care Nursing Home in Canada, opened its doors
