What Service We Provide

Outdoor Activities

Our activities Dept. arranges various excursions for the residents.  There a guest speakers are various topics.  There are     art projects and of course the ever popular bingo.

 

Cultural

Labdara offers its residents a setting of familiarity with Lithuanian language, culture, customs, celebrations, food and worship.

 

 

Spiritual

 

There is a chapel where   religious discussions, rosary prayer group, twice weekly Roman Catholic Mass -Wednesday and Sunday, church program, hymn sing, monthly Benediction, pastoral visits

Volunteers

Our volunteer program has been designed to recruit, screen, orient, train, support and evaluate willing participants in a variety of fulfilling and engaging duties.  

 

 

Dining

Labdara offers a pleasant dining experience for its residents. Menus are carefully planned with the assistance of a Registered Dietician in order to accommodate specific resident dietary needs and cultural preferences with an emphasis on nutrition, variety and taste.

Staff

Labdara is fortunate to have many of the same staff members that shared in our opening, providing continuity in service .Our staff has members who are fluent in Lithuanian and many other languages

On June 25th, 2002, Labdara, the only Lithuanian Long-Term Care Nursing Home in Canada, opened its doors 

Labdara Lithuanian Nursing Home is owned by the Labdara Foundation, a not-for-profit registered charity B/N 118987775RR0001.
The home is managed by UniversalCare Inc
